My name is Kathleen Maturan, and I have had the privilege of being a part of the Wakefield Forest community for the past three years. With 20 years of teaching experience, 11 of which have been dedicated to third-grade education within Fairfax County, I am deeply committed to fostering student growth and learning. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Salisbury University on Maryland's Eastern Shore and hold a Master's degree in Instructional Design and eLearning from George Mason University. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy reading, spending quality time with my family, and going to Disney World.
