I could not be more excited to be starting my 7th year teaching at WFES! I am a proud graduate of Emporia State University’s Teachers College, in my home state of Kansas. I stepped away from the classroom almost immediately to embrace my role as an Air Force wife…but he JUST retired!!! While bouncing from Arizona to Virginia and nearly everywhere in between, I spent time as a developmental therapist, youth group leader, para-educator and most importantly mama to 3 phenomenal kiddos: Afton 20, Wilson 18, and Ludie 13.  I married my husband Brian, 23 glorious years ago and haven’t stopped smiling since! Together we tackle home improvement projects, explore the local area and root on the St Louis Cardinals, from afar! I am honored to be part of such an incredible team at Wakefield Forest and cannot wait to spend 6^th grade with you!
