Sarah Girard
My name is Sarah Girard. I am a special education teacher at Wakefield Forest. I am starting my 12th year of teaching with most of my experience working with elementary special education students but I have experience teaching preschool and providing math intervention. I started working at Wakefield Forest during the 2021-2022 school year as a math interventionist and transitioned back to special education the following year! I graduated from Woodson High School, earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College and attended The George Washington University for my masters in special education.
My husband and I have four lovely children that currently keep us very busy with sports and other activities which include baseball, competitive gymnastics and marching band, to name a few! In our free time we love to get outside to hike or paddleboard and love including our two dogs in our adventures!
