Caroline Thomson
Welcome to Fabulous Fourth Grade! My name is Caroline Coleman. This will be my 10th year teaching in Virginia and my 6th year at WFES! I have taught 4th grade, 5th grade, and Middle School Social Studies. I grew up in the 2nd smallest state, Delaware! I attended West Virginia University (Go Mountaineer’s!) where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Elementary Education and Social Studies along with my Master’s of the Arts in Elementary Education. I also attended George Mason University where I received my Master’s of the Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration.
I love to travel! I have been to 47 out of 50 states. I have also traveled to South Africa, Ireland, England, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, and Italy. In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, camping, cooking, and knitting. When I’m not traveling, my life is kept busy by my yellow lab/golden retriever dog Maverick! I am looking forward to working with you and your student this coming year!
