Briana Trone
This is my 18th year teaching—and tenth at WFES. My heart is with the primary grades, and after 17 years of first grade this is my first year in second! Building connections and spending time in the world of young learners and their imaginations brings me so much joy. I’m lucky to have a job where I get to laugh out loud and see kids discover things daily.
I grew up in FCPS (Herndon Elementary, Middle & High School) and went to UVA for my Masters in Teaching. I love reading (my library holds list is always maxed out!), cooking & playing around with recipes, singing out loud (terribly, but passionately!) and am learning how to crochet. I’m married to a fellow FCPS elementary school teacher, and we have two fun girls of our own to keep us busy & make sure there are many reasons for us to smile.
