My name is Maggie Lubinski, and I have been teaching Strings in FCPS since 2008.  This is my 3rd year (2023-4) at Wakefield Forest ES, and I love my students, families and colleagues here!  I was adopted from El Salvador and grew up in a suburb of Buffalo, NY.  I received my Double Bachelors Degree in Violin Performance and Music Education from the Eastman School of Music and Masters of Music from Ithaca College.  I believe all students can learn a musical instrument and participate in lifelong music making.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy swimming, running, playing violin in a community orchestra, traveling near and far, and spending time with my family.
