Amy Rapuano

Librarian, ES

Hello WFES families!

My name is Amy Rapuano and I have been teaching since 2006. I grew up in New Jersey and spent my first 4 years there teaching 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. I then received my masters degree in School Library Media and made the switch to the happiest place on earth, the library! This is my 10th year as part of the Wakefield Forest family and it gives me great joy sharing our library with our students and their families. I strongly believe that there is the right book out there for every student, and it has been my mission to make the library the heart of our school by developing a diverse collection of books that make our students excited about reading. When I’m not at school, I enjoy reading, going for walks, traveling to see family and friends from back home, and spending time with my husband and sweet beagle girl, Maggie.
